The Summer 2012 Brochure is now available!
At Mar-Lu-Ridge, campers of all ages experience and engage in cooperative learning while participating in new activities, all in a safe, non-threatening, non-competitive and hands-on environment that builds campers’ confidence along with an understanding of what it means to live as a “community in Christ.”
We welcome all people to a mountaintop experience of Christian community that changes lives, makes disciples, builds friendships, and encourages care of God’s creation. People of all faiths are welcome! We are open to everyone, so invite your friends, co-workers, and partners to see what Mar-Lu-Ridge has to offer.
We have four open house dates in 2012; March 25th, April 29th, May 13th and June 10th are for people interested in learning more about our summer camp. You will have a chance to meet some of the staff, tour the grounds and facilities, and ask questions from 2:00 – 4:30 p.m. No appointment is necessary, just come and check us out!
In addition to our traditional camp sessions, we also offer many specialty camp sessions including, but not limited to: fishing, adventure, science, arts, horseback, Night Owls and archery camps. You can discover more about the different camps at the Camp Descriptions page. To see when the different camps are offered, check out the Schedule and Fees page. Registration opens January 1st!
All campers will enjoy daily Bible studies, swimming, small and large group games, delicious food, challenge courses, a pool party, campfires, hikes, cookouts, crafts, worship, new friends, Scales and Tales and the camp store. Campers under 10 may also launch bottle rockets and take a hay ride while campers 11 and older may participate in a zipline, rock climbing, archery, canoeing, night hikes, sports, etc. All of our camps are overnight except for Day Camp.
Campers arrive at camp between 2 and 4 pm on Sunday and leave after 7:15pm Friday evening worship service (unless otherwise stated). Summer camp 2012 will run from June 17 to August 10.
Full and partial “campership” scholarships are available through churches and from the camp. See the Registration page for more information.
