Immediate Contributions
Through the Mar-Lu-Ridge online store, you can make a donation easily and quickly anytime. Simply visit the store, select a donation amount in increments of $25.00 and checkout using a Visa, Mastercard, or Discover credit card. Donations will be used for camper scholarships and general maintenance unless otherwise specified.

The Mar-Lu-Ridge Annual Fund
Gifts to Mar-Lu-Ridge's Annual Fund support the overall ministry of Mar-Lu-Ridge. Gifts to the fund may be presented at any time during the year. Proceeds are used within the annual operating budget to:

keep fees for services and programs reasonable and within reach of most campers
provide "campership" scholarships to families who cannot afford to pay full camp fees
purchase capital equipment and make modest capital improvements
underwrite start-up costs of new programs and supplement special programs

The Mar-Lu-Ridge Capital Campaigns
In these days when it is so difficult for the church to maintain connections and influence with children, congregations need the effective resources of Mar-Lu-Ridge to strengthen their ministries. Christian Community, such as Mar-Lu-Ridge, is a powerful, well-linked system for youth ministry and Christian Ministry. Congregations look to Mar-Lu-Ridge as a resource in Christian Education and Youth Ministry.

Mar-Lu-Ridge is limited in meeting these needs because, indoor meeting space for 100-150 plus participants is limited and needed to accommodate larger groups. Many groups do not use Mar-Lu-Ridge due to insufficient meeting space. Dinign space is also inadequate; currently groups dine in shifts due to a maximum capacity of 80 diners at a time. To address this we have instituted two capital campaigns"

1. Sowing For the Harvest is a joint venture between Mar-Lu-Ridge, the Gettysburg Seminary, and the Delaware-Maryland Synod. Mar-Lu-Ridge's participation in this is to raise funds to construct/expand dining and meeting space. The campaign will conclude in 2009. 2. 50th Anniversary Metro D. C. Capital Campaign. For our 50th anniversary, Mar-Lu-Ridge will be conducting a Capital Campain in the Metro DC synod with that goal of raising one million dollars to expand dining space, meeting space, and facility upgrades to the Ridge inn and other buildings. Individuals as well as congregations may contact the Mar-Lu-Ridge office to receive materials concerning the campaign.

Planned Giving/Endowment Fund
This "Heritage Societyserves to honor people who have included Mar-Lu-Ridge in their estate plans and will also identify people who have done so. All bequests, unless designated by the donor for other uses, will enhance the Mar-Lu-Ridge endowment. An estate planner is available to speak with interested parties.
